The tax rates and healthcare insurance contributions have been adjusted as of 1 January 2023. We will deduct these amounts from your gross pension benefit. Tax return for the year 2022
Do you have any other income besides your pension from Stichting Pensioenfonds Staples? Please note that you may have to pay additional tax when you file your tax return for 2022. Or that you will get back less tax than expected. This is because you may fall into a higher tax bracket. You can find information about this on the Tax Administration's website.
Do you also receive AOW?
Do you also receive AOW from the government? If so, you should bear in mind that the AOW amounts change every year. The amount of AOW you will receive depends on your personal situation. The website of the Sociale Verzekeringsbank (SVB) contains the AOW amounts for 2023.
Are you not yet receiving AOW?
Your AOW age depends on your date of birth. You can calculate your AOW age at svb.nl.
Do you receive a WAO/WIA benefit in addition to your pension?
The UWV will adjust this benefit as of 1 January 2023. Check the UWV website for the WAO-WIA amounts for 2023.
Health insurance law premium
How much do you pay for your health insurance?
The costs for your health insurance consist of 2 parts.
You pay a fixed amount of premium directly to your health insurance company.
You pay an income-related contribution (Zvw contribution). The higher your income, the higher your contribution. We deduct this amount from your pension benefit.
The health insurance contribution you have to pay is reduced to 5.43% (was 5.50% in 2022).
You pay the health insurance contribution on your pension benefit and AOW benefit.
The maximum income on which you pay the health insurance contribution is € 66,956 in 2023. Do you receive several pensions or benefits as a result of which your total income exceeds the maximum income? If so, too much health insurance contributions will be withheld. The amount that is withheld in excess will be refunded to you later via your tax return from the Tax Administration.
